About Us
Folia Literary Journal is a publication established, administered, and published by students at the University of Toronto Mississauga Campus and is produced by the English & Drama Student Society.
The journal was started a few years ago as With Caffeine and Careful Thought but underwent a renaming and rebrand in 2024 by the 2024-2025 editor-in-chief, Yoon Bae. With the new rebrand, Folia presents exciting poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and artworks to highlight and flourish young and silenced voices.
As of 2024, Folia will publish biannually in print and collaborate with professors and different English classes for digital editions.

Yoon Bae (she/her)
Yoon Bae is a Korean writer based in Toronto. She is a third-year Philosophy and Creative writing student at the University of Toronto.
Her goal with Folia's relaunch is to shift the focus onto unrepresented and marginalized voices within the creative community.
